My very own lap quilt...

I made a quilt for me! It is a lap quilt for the living room when I watch tv or a movie. The front is pieced. I used the lazy angle ruler and pattern book. The blocks I did were winter star, paddle, wind and peak. I had started it 2 years ago and is now off th UFO list! Hurray!

The colour is darker and richer than what is shown here.

This pic shows the colour better.

Year of Quilts 2013

This is a picture collage of the 40 quilts I completed this year. Some I did start to finish and some I just did the long arm quilting for other people or for charities.
I wasn't planning on summarizing my quilting this year but once I started counting I was quite surprised with the accomplishments! I enjoy the process. Love my long arm machine, Glory Be. Love helping in the local community. God has blessed me with this gift of helping and I am so thankful for the many blessings that have resulted.

These are the 11 quilts I did start to finish either for gifts or commissioned quilts.

 For class quilt at school.

This one above is a lap quilt for me which I plan to finish by the end of 2013.

These are 9 quilts I did long arm quilting for other people like my mom, her friend and customers.

These 20 quilts I did the long arm quilting for the LQS community quilters for a local charity or my church's prayer quilt ministry.

Footnote: I may have even missed a couple because I didn't take a picture of it!

What I am working...in December.

Dec. 8 to 14, 2013

I finished my in-laws quilt on the long arm and now need to add binding. Using same grey as inner border.

I am still working on my SIL's lap quilt for the wedding. First 2 rows are done. Orange rows are next.

At my church's prayer and squares quilting group, I finished a top and will add the fleece back soon. The top was a garage sale find but needed fixing since it was hand done.
