Learning Curve

Since I got my LA machine in August, I feel I have learned so much and am still learning. Tension is always a puzzle that needs fixing. I think I found the formula! Finally! Going to a workshop at my LQS really helped. As well, reading on-line blog forums, and just trial and error. Lots of picking stitches but lots of learning. I hope to keep perfecting my craft as I grow my long arm business. I offer reasonable rates especially since I am new at it and I want to help out those who might not get their quilts completed. I also want to continue to quilt for ministries like Prayers and Squares at church and Community quilts at the LQS.
I feel so blessed at this opportunity of learning and providing service for other quilters like my Mom and Sister.

Long Arm Quilting business...

I have started a long arm quilting business in February 2013. I hope to provide reasonable prices for quilters to get their quilts done and off their WIP and UFO lists. I only do edge to edge pantographs at the moment. I don't know if I will ever custom quilt. I am relatively new at this. So far my customers consist of my Mom, sister and friends. I am enjoying the experiences and learning with each size and pantograph pattern. My business is called Glory Be Quilting Niagara. I hope it to be a blessing to God and others. I have a website: www.glorybequiltingniagara.weebly.com
I look forward to what God has in store for me in this business venture!

My Son's 16th birthday quilt

I have completed the long arm quilting on my son's 16th birthday quilt. He turns 16 in April. It still needs binding. It has a basketball pantograph pattern on it. It is all made with flannels. It is 78" x 84". It is the biggest quilt so far I have done on my long arm so far. I am happy with how it turned out. I hope he likes it!
