November Finish... and two for December already.

I am sorry to say I had only one November long arm quilting finish this month.  It was a charity lap quilt.  Here are the pics of it. I used Paper Chase pantograph and Wonderfil Master Quilter Thread in grey on top and white on the bottom.

I was testing my long arm after moving it from my house to my in-laws.  We are living with them until our new townhouse is ready.  It is great they have space for me to set up the long arm in their living area in the lower level of their house. My machine set up beautifully and I am again enjoying the long arm quilting process.

I have already completed another quilt for December's list.  This is a prayer quilt for Bethany Community Church quilt group. There are only 2 pics of this quilt. I was on a time line to get this quilt done for Dec. 4th.  I completed it on December 1.

The back is actually black but the lighting didn't turn out correctly.

Here is a customer lap log cabin quilt. It is spectacular! I used "France" pantograph with Wonderfil MQ 57 thread.

Taking a break- updating monthly.

I have decided to take a break from my weekly posts.  I will update my completed projects monthly until I move into my new place.  It is very busy with work, packing up a large house and downsizing to a town house.  But I  am looking forward to it.  Just something has to give and it's had to be blogging and some of my crafting time.  See you at the end of October!

Books I have listened to...

These are the books I have listened to in the last couple months.
Usually while I quilt, mow the lawn, load the dishes, mark certain papers,or  drive to work, I am listening to an audio book.
I have enjoyed all of these. Love the English accent on the readers of the novels written by England authors is fun!
So here is what I read or rather listened to.

Prayer Quilts and Pottery

I complete 2 prayer quilts on my long arm this week.  Also my 6 pottery bowls are glaze and completed too!

My former church has a group of ladies that make small lap quilts that are used for prayer quilts in their Prayers and Squares Ministry. I occasionally get their quilt tips to long arm quilt for them. Here are 2 of the ones I completed this week.

I used taupe Connecting Threads Euro Pro thread with the Paper Chase pantograph.

Another prayer quilt...

I used navy superior thread with wild rose pantograph.

These are my the pots and mug I made in my pottery lessons so far.  I glazed them.  I like half of them but not the other half.
These are the ones I like...

These are the ones I am not a fan of...it's the colours!

Those are my finishes this week.
